A Phoenix Rising Therapeutic Yoga experience led by Tamara Allen
Phoenix Rising Therapeutic Yoga is a chance for you to become present to your moment-to-moment experience in your body and how it relates to what’s going on in your life. From this awareness comes the power to create change for greater overall well-being.
~No right or wrong experiences – engage your own unique experience
~About the process of yoga not the execution of poses
~Develop compassion for yourself and your journey
~No previous yoga experience necessary – all levels welcome
~Gentle movement with extended holds to support awareness of body, sensations, breath, thoughts, and emotions and invites deeper introspection of what you experience
~Class ends with a final self-reflection to empower you in bringing your revelations to life.
~Please bring a yoga mat or blanket
~Bring water if you’d like. (NO RED LIQUIDS)
Each participant will have their own individual experience. Tamara, as the instructor, will guide the participants in and out of body positioning and will ask simple questions such as “what’s happening now?” to encourage the participants to be fully present to being in their body in each moment.
