The original toffee recipe was passed to Sue by a mentor during her student teaching years—its origins a mystery, its flavor unforgettable. Over the years, Sue refined and perfected the recipe, gifting homemade toffee each holiday season to colleagues, friends, and family. What started as a personal tradition soon grew into something much bigger, as demand for the rich, buttery treat continued to grow.
Today, Sweets by Suzanne is known for its small-batch quality, balanced flavors, and a story that reflects the values of kindness, connection, and excellence. Though Sue's background is in education, her dedication, precision, and passion shine through in every piece of toffee—making it not just delicious, but meaningful.
