Our working farm is set in the 20s- we provide tours of the house and other buildings, we have a mercantile filled with Nebraska-made items and would like to add to it and grow that part of the business to help support the mission to educate our guests about the history of ag in Nebraska.

Wessels Living History Farm is a great place to learn and grow. Our focus is agricultural education and early farm living from the 1900's and beyond. We hold small classes in addition to large events, weddings, just about anything you can imagine, we do.
We are always growing. Currently we are adding a brand new Agricultural Education Center. Completion set for January 2022 (Hopefully sooner).
In the summer and fall we have guided tours, farm animals and a full garden & corn crop with new things added every year! We feature a turn-of-the-century farmhouse and barn, multiple outbuildings, fully functional windmill, church, one-room schoolhouse and playground, 30+ pieces of farm equipment and even wagon rides on occasion.
Our gift shop is chocked full of pieces of art work and collectibles from local artists and early 1900's memorabilia along with Wessels own collectible merchandise. Stop and see us!
